by Andrew Ran Wong on December 14, 2009

billboardA good site design is one critical element that makes a website rock. For a blog to stand out from the crowd, it also needs to have attractive look and feel.

Since I started out blogging at WebStudio13, I have been consistently learning new tricks everyday that enable me to make my blog look better on a consistent basis.  You can Google for good web design tutorials, but I guarantee you the search results will be overwhelming.  To make things simple, I decided to write a post that summarizes the most useful 20 design blogs available today. Personally, I’ve benefited tremendously from their tips on how to make a site attractive.  Enjoy!

The website or blog design is reflective of the character of the company or the blog owner. That's why people take time to creatively design their blogs and sites. I like the design blogs that you mentioned in your post. They are very innovative and modern. I will add some of their design details to make my blog more visually pleasing.

Another option to try for non tech savvy people is to consult professionals. With the help of a web designer (toronto), I was able to make my company website. A (toronto) web developer helped me in strategically arranging my site for easy navigation to featured products. Right now, I'm already familiar with the basic techniques and I will be exploring the designs that you mentioned when updating my company site. Thanks again!
